These devices are designed for identifying surface and subsurface imperfections in aerospace components. They adhere to the ASTM E1444 and E709 standards.
They generate AC & FWDC current.
- These workstations consist of two vector machines. To create a circular magnetic field, the component is secured between the headstock and tailstock, and a current is passed through it. For parts featuring a central bore, the threaded bar method is employed for testing. The longitudinal magnetic field is generated through the use of an encircling coil. Switching from AC to FWDC is achieved through solid-state circuitry.
- The adjustable magnetization time, with a maximum duration of 2.0 seconds, enables thorough indication development.
- Offered in a range of amperages, part lengths, and coil diameters.
- Every model includes a dark room equipped with a ventilation fan and white light for testing with fluorescent powders.
